FAQs
What is bloodknot?
A mobile application designed to help professionals in the outdoor guiding industry book trips, manage their schedules, accept payments with ease, and organize and manage their clientele list
What makes Bloodknot different from other platforms?
Completely Mobile
100% free for guides
Clients belong to the guides, not Bloodknot
When a client goes to book a trip they will not see options to book with other guides
Created to be a tool for guides to help manage and grow their business
Calendar integration, with phone calendar (coming soon)
How does Bloodknot collect fees?
If a client books a trip through the guides bloodknot calendar, we charge a one-time 3% fee to the client at checkout.
How do clients book trips with me?
You’ll get a personalized booking link to share directly with clients — by adding to a button on your website, adding the link to your social, or sending the link directly through text & email. When they click it, they’ll only see your trip options, not other guides.
How do I get paid?
All payments go through the app using Stripe — safe, secure, and trusted worldwide. Clients pay a deposit up front to book, and you decide the deposit amount. The remaining balance can be paid in cash or requested through the app on the day of the trip. Funds from deposits are sent straight to your bank account on the conclusion of the trip.
Will clients ever see other guides when they book through my link?
No. Your booking link is yours alone — clients only see your trips, not other guides. Bloodknot isn’t a marketplace; it’s a tool built to support your business, not compete with it. We only succeed if you do, one guide at a time.
How long does it take to get set up?
Most guides are up and running in under 10 minutes. Just download the app, add your trips, integrate your stripe account (or create one), and share your booking link. That’s it — no tech headaches, no long onboarding.
