The Start of Something Built to Last
Bloodknot wasn’t born in a boardroom or pitched to investors—we didn’t even set out to start a company. We were just a group of guides, tired of the chaos that comes with managing bookings, payments, and client relationships. We wanted a tool that we could actually use on the water.
With zero app development experience (yep, we're admitting that), we teamed up with a group of developers to bring our vision to life. This entire project has been self-funded, so every decision is driven by what guides actually need, not what makes the most money. After plenty of trial and error (and a few frustrated moments), we’re excited to announce the launch of V1 of Bloodknot.
With lots of new features coming soon, Bloodknot’s goal is simple: to give outdoor professionals not just a way for clients to book easily, anywhere, anytime, but also to provide guides with tools that help grow and maintain their businesses the right way—through relationships. We believe the best businesses are built on return customers and referrals, and that happens more often (it’s not a coincidence) when a guide can build a personal connection with their clients.
That’s why we’ve focused on making it simple to remember not just clients' names, but also their preferences and everything else that makes those relationships special. Along with powerful CRM tools, guides now have an easy way to follow up and stay in touch.
None of this would be possible without the constant feedback from the Bloodknot community. You are the reason we’ve gotten this far. We’re incredibly grateful to serve such a hard-working group of people, and our hope is that we can make your lives just a little easier.
